wanting to combine professional work with leadership, strategy and project management. You hold some form of position of responsibility, or else you will do in the future. You have experience of working life and degree-level training in corporate finance.

Structure

Leadership is a matter of both formal knowledge and individual ability. Therefore, this course is based on work with general theories, tools adapted to suit specific situations and - not least - on developing your own personal skills.

This course starts off with a two-day residential session in which the emphasis is on team development and your own personal leadership. As the term progresses, you will also be doing more in-depth work in which participants will work in smaller groups and select an issue of a strategic nature to work with. This work will involve an investigation project which will be presented by the team in the form of a report. There are two aims with thsi work: to ensure that participants work on the basis of team, communication and leadership aspects to analyse the team's working process from start to finish, and to present this in a reflection report.

The course ends with a case competition in which you will have the opportunity to put your new knowledge to good use in a strategy in order to resolve a genuine corporate problem. Your analysis and solution will be represented to a jury consisting of representatives of the company in question, along with lecturers from Lund University School of Economics and Management.
