Leading IMPACT – Executive Management & Leadership Program next for Adam Jomaa

“I have a keen interest in developing businesses and people and would like to broaden my perspective and deepen my knowledge to become more complete as a leader.” This is what Adam Jomaa, Team Manager Quality at Kraftringen, hopes to get out of EFL’s new flagship program, Leading IMPACT – Executive Management & Leadership Program, which he will begin this fall.

“Above all, I want to develop the strategic part of my leadership skills and put my newfound knowledge and perspective into practice at work,” says Adam Jomaa.

Adam, who has a Master of Science in Biotechnology, works at energy company Kraftringen where he is engaged in various strategic business development initiatives, linked to both structure and culture. Before that, Adam held a position as industrial park manager at Kemira Kemi in Helsingborg, focusing on business development and management.

In the fall, Adam will start EFL’s new executive management program, Leading IMPACT, which was developed and refined on the basis of our Executive MBA program, which we provided in collaboration with the Lund University School of Economics and Management for 20 years. We interviewed Adam about his expectations for the start of the program this fall.

What made you decide to attend Leading IMPACT?
For several years, I have felt that a program equivalent to an executive MBA would be interesting and suitable for where I am in my career. I have a keen interest in developing businesses and people and would like to broaden my perspective and deepen my knowledge to become more complete as a leader.

Why did you choose Leading IMPACT over other management programs at the same level?
Both the content and the structure of Leading IMPACT appeal to me. I believe in the structure of effective meetings with a focus on reflection and experience sharing between participants and the continuous application of this knowledge at work. Compared with a traditional executive MBA program, I believe that Leading IMPACT adds greater value in practice for both participants and companies, on an ongoing basis throughout the program. Being geographically close to the program meetings is also an important aspect for me to achieve the right work-life balance.

What are your expectations?
I’m really looking forward to taking the program and think it’ll be great fun! I expect that it will mean hard work from us participants to get the most out of the program and that it’s important for everyone to contribute their experiences and reflections, both for their own and for the whole group’s benefit. I think that the diversity of the group enriches learning, and I’m looking forward to the network I’ll gain through the program, which consists of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences from various types of organizations.

What do you want to develop through the program?
Above all, I want to develop the strategic part of my leadership skills and put my newfound knowledge and perspective into practice at work. I’ll benefit greatly from the experience I’ll gain from the program both in the short and long term, and this will also help prepare me for roles with greater responsibility.
